Baby Barrett.... Final Installment!

Saturday morning, I had the opportunity to hang out with Cam, Brandon, and Baby Barrett. This was Barrett's sixth session, and I was so excited to see him! Cam is expecting her second child, Baby Bolton, in about three weeks, and we'll be doing a year of photos for him as well, so I'll be seeing lots more of this amazing family! I am so excited about that!

I showed up early in the morning, and spent a couple of hours just hanging out... We really captured the essence of a Saturday morning for them!

Barrett has the most amazing eyelashes... Is it bad that I'm a bit envious of them?



Cam then tossed Baby Barrett into the bath for a quick clean up, before they headed out for the day. I leaned down close to the water to capture an image of him... and he peed at me! Hysterical!



The worst part of the day for him, is having his clothing put back on... The process was so traumatic. I love the way Cam handled it... she's so patient and loving with him!





Saturday was so much fun! I can't wait til Baby Bolton arrives! Cam and Brandon, I love you guys!

I love Baby Adaley!

I know I say this every time I blog about her, but I really adore Baby Adaley! I am absolutely amazed that she is already almost 6 months old! How in the world has time gone by so incredibly quick?!

She's got the chubbiest little cheeks... I just want to eat her!



And although she's just mastered the art of sitting, she's already trying to take off crawling as well! She's completely determined to do it, and I think she'll be completely mobile within the next month!





It was an amazingly beautiful day, so Laura and Jackie took Adaley outside to play in the yard a bit. She was definitely excited about all of the attention!







I love this quiet moment between Jackie and Adaley... it was completely spontaneous, and the look on Jackie's face is priceless!



Laura is the owner of Hello Beautiful Salon, and she wanted a few pictures of Adaley in the shampoo bowl! I was happy to oblige, as Adaley is just the perfect size!



I love that you can see Laura in the reflection in this one!



We ended up the session with a quick bath! Adaley had a blast splashing around, and I even rolled up my jeans and joined her! She's got the most amazing smile!

School and Birthdays... Fun Wednesday!

This has been a crazy week, with something fun to do every day so far!

This morning started off with a very important event! Austen went to Grace Baptist School for his initial kindergarten testing! He is almost a kindergartener! I have no idea how I feel about that! I can't believe he is old enough to be in school, and yet, I am so proud of him.

We were chatting about the day over cereal this morning, and he seemed pretty excited about it!





Of course, Addison couldn't handle Austen having his picture taken... she wanted be to take a picture of her "frog" :) Silly girl.



Austen at school! I don't think I am prepared for this yet!



Then tonight, we went bowling to celebrate the birthday of one of our dearest friends!

Super Suppers.... Fun Tuesday :)

Last night, Erin Dunmore, Heather Smith, and I spent a couple hours making some fun dinners at Super Suppers. Erin's awesome husband Matt came along and blessed us with his photographic genius... I swiped a couple of his images for this blog :) Thanks Matt!

They had this cheeseball out for us to sample... I LOVE cheeseballs, but this one was Mango Lime or something like that, and it was SOUR. Cheese should never taste like sour candy! Disgusting! Matt grabbed this of me just after I ate it... ick! I was completely freaking out.



Fun times guys! If the food tastes decent, let's do it again!

The Penguins have Arrived!

It's Fun Monday again! Woo!

I am so excited about posting these images today! I got a new point and shoot for Mother's Day, and I think it rocks! (Thanks to my rockstar friend Corey for the brilliant camera recommendation!)

Here's the first image taken with it... I love how sharp it is :)



For Fun Monday this week, we headed back to the Tennessee Aquarium. Now, I have to admit that I might be just a bit tired of the aquarium, BUT I was super excited to go today and see the new Penguin exhibit! They are SO fun to watch... I kinda wanted to jump in there and swim around with them :)















Then we went for dinner to one of my FAVORITE restaurants, The Blue Plate Diner. The light at our table was pretty fun, so we took some silly wide-angle images of our faces while we waited....









The food is SOOOOO yummy. I always just order the macaroni and cheese, but today, I was starved... so I went with the fried chicken platter. Should've just stuck with the mac and cheese, 'cause I didn't get through half of this craziness!



Nathan has the Blue Plate Burger, with the star of the show, the Blue Chips. If you ever visit this place, you can't leave without having the Chips! They are SO good!

Then we went to feed the ducks. Random fact: I am really quite scared of ducks. I was bitten by one when I was on my first date as a teenager, and I find them to be totally freaky! Addison on the other hand, is completely NOT afraid of them, and was letting them get WAY too close to her! Eeek!



Nathan has been wanting to grab a picture of our car... I love the way this one turned out!
