The new I DO for Brides (TN) has just come out and features a two-page spread from a session that I photographed a while back. Our model was absolutely beautiful and a dream to work with. David Smith was there to help me with a reflector and we managed to make middle-of-the-day light work well!
Below are a few more images from the shoot as well!
Make sure that you pick up a copy of I DO! It's really the best local wedding magazine that I've seen around!
I had the opportunity to go to a networking event the other night hosted by Premiere Bride Magazine, and got to hang out with friends and make a couple of new friends in the process!
Photographers Lawson Whitaker, Jane Hundley, and myself...
Rachel from The White Table, Amanda from Divine Designs, and myself....
Then we headed over to Chattanooga's Blue Plate diner for some food!
Savannah, from Great American Music, Mike Key's company, photographer Amie Irwin, Ricki Chester, myself, and photographer Kandice Ledford.
Our long-time friend (and one of my sisters I never had) Laura Martin is opening her business and salon, Hello Beautiful, and yesterday I got to photograph some of her friends for her MySpace site!
Laura does beautiful work - definitely contact her through MySpace if you're in the area and need hair done!
The girls did a great job in front of the camera and we got some really fun shots!
On Tuesday I got to go photograph some details of Tamara Dillard's incredible store, Sophie's! They're in the process of getting their new website ready, and needed some images for the site.
Tamara has meant so much to our business in the last two years or so! In fact, she got Amber's Lifestyle Family Portrait business started by referring Amber to her first client. That was last year, and needless to say, things have taken off!
Tamara is an incredible florist, and also has an incredible shop with the coolest gifts in a vintage theme! She's constantly updating their products, so basically any time I'm at the shop, there are new products!
I wanted to share a few of the images from the shoot - enjoy!
On Tuesday, Nathan and I met up with the incredible ladies from Soirees for a yummy lunch at my favorite restaurant, Tony's Pasta.
Our purpose for the lunch (other than to just enjoy the amazing company) was to work through some details concerning a special event that we currently have in the works. Tayor, Morgan, and Stephanie were kind enough to sit and help up brainstorm. It was hysterical to watch Taylor's brain work... she's SO animated!
I can't give you any details yet, but I CAN tell you that Holritz Photography and Soirees of Chattanooga are teaming up to bring the hottest party in the history of Chattanooga! We want create an opportunity for local wedding professionals (and various other members of the community) to gather under one roof, for a very specific purpose. Creating relationships.
For this event, no business cards will be allowed. Plan on some wonderful company and entertainment in a beautiful new venue!
Here are a few teaser images from our visit to the super secret location.
Keep checking! I'll post updates as soon as we have them!
On Friday I met Amanda Miller to photograph some of her absolutely amazing custom-made invitations! Amanda will be offering creating custom-made invitations to the Chattanooga area in the near future, and so we spent some time photographing a variety of sample products for her website!
Here are a few samples!
And the wonderful Amanda herself!
If anyone needs contact information for Amanda until her website is live, feel free to contact us!
