Erich and Sarah! What a great way to start off the year!

We had our first wedding of the year Sunday in Cleveland, and Nathan and I wholeheartedly agree that we couldn't have asked for a more amazing day! The weather was completely out of the ordinary for this time of year, sunny, mid-50's, absolutely beautiful!

Nathan started off the day at Erich's brother's restaurant, Cafe Roma, where the guys were getting the site ready for the mid-day ceremony, and then readying themselves.

I was just three doors down at The Renaissance hanging out with Sarah and Jenny as they beautified!

One of my favorite times during the day was when Sarah's dad came down to the salon to walk her to the ceremony site. Sarah and her dad are very close, and the emotion was just amazing. Note to self: pack tissues in camera bag!

Just following the ceremony, Sarah and Erich allowed us the luxury of an extended portrait session with them! This doesn't happen often, and we love it when it does!

One of my favorite shots of the day came from just before we left with the bride and groom... This little one was not interested in joining us for the bridal party portrait, but Sarah managed to coerce him into this! I love it! I am hoping to hang out with this family at their house soon!

The happiest bride ever!

And a handsome groom!

The streets of Cleveland were flooded with amazing light, and Sarah and Erich have amazing chemistry!

After the portraits, we headed off to the Old Woolen Mill for the reception. I will try to post a few images from that sometime in the next week or so!

Sarah and Erich! Thanks SO much for allowing us to be a part of your day! It was an awesome party, and we had a blast seeing all our past clients! It was almost like a mini-reunion. Let's do it again :)

You guys have a blast on your ridiculously long honeymoon! Let us know where you ended up... the suspense is killing us all!

Enjoy your slideshow!!

Oh, and we want to say a quick thanks to one of our past grooms, Grant Dotson, for helping us out on Sunday. Grant is starting his own photography business here in town, and we had a great time having him around!

extra off camera lighting is kicking the self-portrait up a notch. maybe that can be your next workshop...creating the best self portraits for the blog.
