Pictage Conference LA '06

It's a rough life... I'm currently sitting in a coffee shop in Santa Barbara, CA typing on my computer. It's about 70-75 outside with little to no humidity, and a nice breeze is blowing through the coffee shop from time to time. I finished a smoothie a little while ago to tie me over until a sushi dinner later tonight. David Jay, Amy Nave, Mary Jane, Katie Humphreys(Chris's wife), and Andrew Van Gundie are sitting in the shop as well, chatting, working on laptops.

I love being a photographer!!!

Amber and I flew from Nashville to LA yesterday and then drove down just past Santa Barbara to stay at Chris and Katie Humphrey's home.

Went to breakfast with David Jay and Amy Nave today, and then to church at Reality Carp with David Jay, Tim Halberg and his fiance Cheryl, and Amy Nave.

We're having an incredible time in an area that has become a second home to us!

Here are a few pictures from the trip so far!

For those of you who don't know, we are in CA to speak at Pictage's Annual Conference in LA, dealing with the subject of Making Working from Home Work for You! This is such an exciting opportunity for Amber and I and will make a big difference in our career as we spend more time reaching out to other photographers, helping them continue to develop their businesses!

Check back for more updates!
