It has been an action packed week. I don't know if words can describe the insanity that has taken over Chattanooga in the last few days.
OSP is a community for photographers. Some would call it a forum, some see it as a resource center... we see it as a way of life! Our dear friend David Jay started this community (we're starting to sound like a cult!) several years back, and we may never thank him enough! Through this forum, we have met some of our dearest friends, and forged relationships that keep us close regardless of the physical distance!
Last year, we had a get together in Atlanta, with about 20 or so photographers. It was such an incredible time for us, that we decided to do it again this year. So we planned an informal get together... and it grew! and grew, and grew, and grew!
By the time all was said and done, we had close to 100 photographers who came and spent time with us! It was incredible! Special thanks to our incredible friends Garrett and Joy Nudd who worked like mad to help pull this event off!
The week of insanity started for me on Sunday, when I went to pick up the beautiful Amy Nave in Atlanta. I managed to completely destroy my car in the process!
Thankfully, I'm completely fine... but it made for a frightening day!
Then the festivities began. Nathan spoke on Monday morning about "Making Working from Home Work for You." Later in the day, we split off into modeling sessions, and had fun shooting fellow photographer Nam
Photographers photographing....
Me and Alison Bynum (the one-armed wonders!)
Me and Connie
Me and Amy
The whole group!
We had dinner that night at yummy Sushi Nabe...
The night rounded out with an open house at the Nudds studio. I was obviously completely shot by this point, because I have no pictures whatsoever from this section of the night!
Tuesday morning, Garrett Nudd presented`"Standing out amoung the Masses" to the group, and then we went to visit his classroom at Southern Adventist University. Lacour Photography came up from Atlanta to present to the class about "The Art of Storytelling".
We girls were a bit late to class, but these ring pops were SO worth it :)
We had dinner at Foodworks (again, no pictures! too busy keeping track of the kids and chatting with everyone!)
Then everyone came by our place and crashed for awhile! It was insanity! Close to 60 photographers crammed into our place! We had such an incredible time! Austen stayed up ALL night ('til close to 2:00)! He was an incredible host!
Fun groups...
We rounded off the event with a much quieter dinner the following night. Thank David, Amy, and Alison for coming over and hanging out. We love you guys very very much.
Thank you so much to everyone who came out to this years OSP South! We miss you guys, and cannot wait til we see you again!

It was so much fun FINALLY meeting you face to face!! Amber, I wish I would have had more time to spend with you.. I can tell we could stir up a lot of trouble together ;)
Awwww love all the pictures. I miss it all. I want to go back!!
Glad your okay girl! You all rock! Thanks for putting up with my sad self.
OSP is the best!
We are so glad that you walked away from the auto accident ok! Love your candids of the days, its like being there again! Its really beyond comprehension as to how much you and Nathan, Joy and Garrett, and all the rest of the gang did to pull this off! Im sure no one, other than you guys who so successfully took a GTG and turned it into conference of friendships, truely have any idea what it took to do this. But I do know there were countless hours of planning that were needed! For all those moments known and unknown, we sincerely thank you!! You guys are awesome and you rock our world!!
Amber, thanks for posting the photos! Fun stuff. And thanks for organizing such a fabulous get-together. We all had a blast.
